I have really bad dry skin on my face. I am looking for some ways to get rid of it. I wash my face pretty much every day, I have tried baby oil to get rid of it. I can't figure out any way to get rid of it. I've even tried seebreaze stuff that they have at our Walmart but nothing seems to help get rid of it. It looks horrible, I can't stand it. I just want it gone. Any tips or tricks?

That is what I do. Once in the morning and once before bed. I don't do it when ever my face is dirty. Thank you for your response.

If your dry skin persists - i advise you to visit your doctor, he or she should be able to give you something stronger than normal products to cure stubborn dry skin - for example Hydrocortisone (only to be used for a short time). I know how you feel, i get regular bouts of it - you think everybody is looking at it.
Also, I use a moisturising face wash called Dove - i dont know if you have it in the US.
HTH.

AFter you shower or wash your face, maybe dry some deep moisturing lotion like Curel or Lubriderm.

I think this will be of great help for your dry skin:
1. dip a cotton ball in milk (any will do)
2. swipe the dipped cotton ball all over your face until the whole face is covered with milk
3. let your face dry. this will take around 5 minutes
4. rinse with water
5. follow with a moisturizer.
Choose a moisturizer that is specifically created for dry skin. You may want to try Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer (choose the one for dry skin) or Olay total effects.

First off, start with a toner or astrigent to remove excess oil, then scrub your face with a great scrub like St. Ives Apricot Scrub(my fave) and finally use
a light lotion(you can probably get some assistance from a makeup counter at a local department store.
And if all else doesn't work, visit a dermatologist and they probably could prescribe something.
Hope that helps.
