My worst teacher was my 5th grade Math teacher. I was already bad at Math but if we got a problem wrong she made everyone feel like an idiot. One day as I was leaving the classroom my backpack hooked onto this filer on her desk. The filer and all papers in it crashed to the floor. She yelled at me and I remember being so embarrassed. I missed a lot of school that year. Out of my 5 teachers 3 of them where kind of hateful like that. I don't think teachers realize the impact that their attitude has on students.

My worst teacher would have been when I was in grade 3 and 4 . She hated me and I never did find out why . I was always quiet , never caused any problems yet she would believe every story she heard about me . There was this one kid who I did not get along with at the time and she was always making up crazy stories that I had bit her ect . And without checking to make sure I did she would send me to the office . I spent almost my entire grade 3 and 4 room sitting in an office by myself . The teacher on the other side of the school used to come and sit with me and just talk to me because she knew how often I was in the office and she knew I wasn't being taught anything . I ended up having a hard time in school and I think it was because I missed so many of the fundamentals you should get when you are in the lower grades . I didn't learn to read anything until my second year of grade 4 and I still blame this all on her . I never did do any of the things I was accused of and being an adult today wonder why she did . Children can be so mean to each other in school and this I see so much of as an adult .

I guess this one's a classic, true to life, but not my teacher!
It was my son's teacher in Math (a young French lady famous in school for being too strict and not too sociable). In short students did not like her at all.
One day she called me to the school to ask why my son is so slow in Math and she claimed that my son doesn't seem to like the subject or has very little interest on it, or worst she claims my son is dumb when it comes to Math subjects. I felt so embarassed by her accusations and declarations.
Now my son graduated in Arizona University - with a degree in Physics, and has majored in Astro-Physics and is only two units away from his PhD. Now I wish I could meet his teacher again to prove that it is not the subject in math that my son did not like, it was her and her attitude.

I am from the old school. Back when we had one room schools with one teacher teaching 5 grades. I had a teacher who's pick was her own son. He could do no wrong! He was the meanest, rudest kid in school. this teacher took up for him all the time and punished anyone who said a word to him. Punishment was sitting in your seat at noon. Nobody liked this kid nor the teacher. I was glad when she finally moved away.
She would not even let anyone go to the toilet during class. There was no break all day except lunch. We had an outside toilet and there was always along line during lunch break. One day a kid peed in his seat because she would not let him go. I felt so sorry for this boy. Pee ran down into the floor from his seat. She still did not let him go. He had to wear wet pants the rest of the day.

My worst teacher would have been my high school chemistry teacher. He was really nice to me though. I got good grades in there and he would also let me come in after class and grade papers for extra credit. His ex-wife worked at the school too and he was dating a girl that had just graduated. He was an older man. I found out him and his wife divorced because he was such a pervert. I was in yearbook class and I was in charge of the faculty section and he would give me these weird responses. I asked him one time which clubs he was over and he told me Babydolls (which is a stripper joint here). And I found out from a friend that the reason he would only let me come grade his papers is because he was looking down my shirt. Isn't that awful. So from then on I never would grade papers for him again and I was too scared to turn him in. I couldn't even stand to look at him anymore.

Mine would have to be my old school headmaster Mr Mani Sir, he was such an arrogant #@$%^ and would accuse me of talking in class when I wasn't, something that has stayed with me all my life as I still will not stand for being falsely ac cussed of anything.

my worst teacher was that in grade 3, i guess.. she is our teacher in one of my minor subjects.. she is known to be strict and the teacher who isn't afraid to give you a failing mark.. she give lectures in a sound you could hardly hear, and the atmosphere inside the room is not suitable for learning.. it is like, you are there to learn only, minus the fun of learning.. she lets you read the book and she will explain a little.. i am a bit afraid of her.. the reason of that attitude is that, maybe because she has no husband, despite the fact that she is near retiring age..
but i am very thankful to her.. if not because of her, i wouldn't be able to memorize all the municipalities in our province.. if not because of her, i wouldn't experience the fear of having such teacher..
to all my mentors in elementary, secondary and tertiary, thank you very much for the knowledge you shared with us..
to all teachers, MABUHAY!!

i had this political science prof back in college who i couldnt stand. she was a relatively nice person i guess, but she picked favorites in class and graded that way as well. she always gave me poor scores while she gave my best friend really high scores even though her work was much lower quality than mine. it was obvious that she was giving high grades to those she liked. i confronted her about it once, but she acted like a total b*tch.

I had a science teacher in grade 8 who we all called krusty the clown... lol had the hair and everything for it. Half of us failed science because we weren't allowed to go in for our experiments in the lab because he couldn't be bothered. So therefore i always seemed to get headaches every friday after lunch... migranes which i would always throw up because of all the assessments and everything i had. I remember that year well.. almost broke an ankle too lol.

My absolute worst teacher was a Biochemistry Professor
that I had in graduate school. Probably the most evil
person to exist in the field of education.
His lectures were extremely long, and to call them boring
would be a compliment. His idea of teaching was reading
from Lippencott, word for word, 2 to 3 hours at a time.
One of his favorite thing to ask some obscure question,
and if the person couldn't answer it, he would say " Either
you didn't read it, or you are very stupid.. which one
is it"
I never got picked on by him..hahaha.. and I never, ever,
have to take another Biochem class as long as I live :D

My worst teacher is...well...I can't say I had very bad teachers at all. All of them have their good and bad sides, some of them are very unprofessional, pretend to be the best, but are actually imposters, but I won't be talking about them, either, because I'm still in school and I have to keep my guard on. Really, you just ahve to understand teachers and work your way around them if you don't like them.

This is true and in my opinion no Teacher should act this way. I am starting school in September to be a Teacher and i will be in it for all of my students best interests! I would have to say that all through jr high i had a problem with every science teacher that i had especially this one more than the other 2!

i despised my grade 9 teacher. I went to school back on the day when they still had the strap.
This teacher MR Vroon had a piece of hocky stick that he called the board of education. If you were 5 seconds late he would hit you on the legs with it.
He challenged one of the boys to a tough contest in our classroom and started punching him in the arm
You would get wacked across the head with his text book if you were not paying attention.
He would walk in on the girls when we were changing for PE
I had to go out into the hall and he told me to bend over so he could hit me on the butt. I refused and got it on the legs instead. There were 4 other female students with me and they refused to bend over as well.
Finally our parents got together to find out what the story was and went to the school board and got him fired.
If I ever saw him and his hair was on fire, I would not waste my spit to help put out the flames.

Teachers forget thet they were young to or act like they were never children , I think they should do better , they have their picks and thats the worst thing for any child to come up against , a teacher can turn a child away from school and that is so unfair for any child to have to face.

well you know i had the same problem and after a while i realised that its not worth it to cry if one of your teachers picks on you so i decided not to be scared anymore of them i became what some of y collegs call a rebel you know anytime a proffesor makes fun of one of my collegs i start to make fun of that proffesor and i make a lot of jokes.i can really say that some theachers are jerks i wont let them make me feel bad .probably it has something to do with my personality im always happy i never look sad even do i feel like life isnt fair and i have the gift to make other people laugh.be strong they cant hold us down

My worst teacher, is actually one that I remember very well and probably will not be able to forget at all. He is my history teacher in architecture. A short, very serious person with a great background in teaching, specially in architecture history. He would draw real nice sketches on the board and we are awed. On test days, he will collect 10 cents each from us students claiming it is to offset the cost of printing the test papers and everyone complained.
He was damn serious when teaching. Never had a smile on his face in the whole year he was assigned to our class. Being sophomores in college, we could not ignore this person as he is actually a good professor, but his style was very uncoventional in many ways. His lectures are deep and very concise as we would find out in the libraries that he is always correct in all of his lectures. Somehow we loved what we are learning from him, but we abhored his style of teaching.
When we completed the 5 year course we took the licensure examination and lo! the exam questionaires are exactly what was being taught by that professor we used to call "Mastaba". Almost everyone in our batch in that licensure examination passed. Now we know we have to thank him, and he will be unforgetable.

My 3rd grade teacher..She was always really rude to me. She still is to this day when I see her.
Also when I was in my senior year in high school, there was a new drama teacher. She was a complete witch. I couldn't stand her. I was walking down the hall because I had just got to school that day from getting a doctor appointment and she yelled at me because I was in the hall when no one was supposed to be. I flashed her my note saying that I was late to school and told her ... "Well, I have a perfectly good reason for being late. I had to go have my ankle checked out from my ball game last night." I had sprained my ankle and my volleyball coach wanted me to go get it checked out before he would let me play. She spouted off that that was the worst excuse she had ever had and sent me to the office. The principal knew I had just gotten there and told me to go on and he would take care of it later. I can't say that I helped my relationship with her become better because When she was rude to me, I didn't take it, I would mouth back at her and be rude back.
