Alone on Valentine's Day????

I will not be alone but we never do anything special on this day! Really i think of it as another halmark holiday. just another day to try to get you out and spend your money! though i wouldnt mind a card.. i guess ! lol!

It doesn't matter to me just another day its close to my birthday Feb. 129th.

I will probably be on line talking with friends, maybe have a movie on at the same time. Might even be posting in here. Other then that nothing really special planned at all. I know it's boring but it's my life and that's all I can say.

hi this wud probably be the first valentines day when i will NOT be alone - thank god for that. jeez ! every valentine is like jinxed for me. even if i have a bf before that (like last year) i broke up with him just 4 days before V - Day. how bad is that ? this time though i'm sure, i'll have a wonderful valentines !

Well I have my hubby but we dont do anything. But if I was back home on the rock, we could meet half way and go clubbing. I haven't done something like that in years.

I'm making gift baskets for my family, friends and coworkers to avoif that "alone" feeling. Maybe you should, too! Here's a sample: Valentine Bark Any assortment of Valentine's candy can be used in this recipe with great results - message hearts, cream filled chocolate hearts and small cinnamon hearts. 1 pound white chocolate, semisweet chocolate, or milk chocolate 2 cups assorted Valentine's Day candy Line a large jellyroll pan with parchment or wax paper and set aside. Melt the chocolate in a large heavy saucepan over very low heat or in a microwave, stirring frequently until the chocolate is smooth and melted. Spread the melted chocolate evenly on the prepared pan. Sprinkle the candy evenly over the chocolate and press the candy into the chocolate to make sure it will not fall out later. Set aside the chocolate to cool. Once the chocolate has set, break into small pieces. Store the bark in a tightly sealed container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Wrap the candy in plastic wrap or brightly colored cellophane and tie into small bundles with bright ribbon for gift giving. Add a special tag or Valentine to each little bundle. Makes about 1 1/2 pounds candy.

Sometimes I am alone, sometimes I am not. It all depends if my husband is working or not. We give eachother a card and I bake a valentine's day cake. That's about it. I hope that you have a nice day dear, and sorry you are alone.

All these years i was alone on the valentines day since i did not have any committed relationship. This year i am still going to be alone though i have a girl whom i am gonna marry since we live in different cities.

Yes I am alone this Valentine's day. My boyfriend is working on the ship and this is suppose to be our second Valentine together. I don't have any plans on that day. Nobody to share it with anyway.

My first Valentine's Day alone... Since I was 15. Can't say I like this feeling, but hey, as long as I know there are others with whom I can share my grief with, I feel a lot better! Think this year I'll go and catch a movie in the cinema, hopefully something with Horror! Haha, would be a good break from all those sappy love movies we used to watch. Generally, I consider Valentine's as just another day, but, it is an excuse to get all mushy in public, so I really don't mind it!

oh yes me too every year alone, although i have a loving fiancee. but every time it turns out that he has no time for meeting, like this year he went to Asia (we live in europe) and will come back in 3 weeks. i hope he wont spend the day with any girl, that would be a disaster. and so i treat the day as every other "normal" day, of course i will see men and women with roses, huggin each other laughing and so on. all well maybe next year will be the lucky one.

I don't even have plans for Valentine's Day yet. Usually I do crafts or make cards for V. day, but not on V. day. By then all my cards are sent away.

no i am not alone on valentine's day! in fact i am not alone on any other day because i have my fiance and we meet every day.

Well, my friends and I who are singles go out together and enjoy the day.

I really don't know, I don't plan that far ahead. i have always seen that day as if it were just another, It never really represented any importance to me. If I'm not doing anything I guess I'll stop by!

Same here! I am alone (again!) on Valentine's day. What I usually do is I prepare small gifts or sweets (chololates, candies, etc.) for my friends & family. I love seeing smiles on their faces. Its also my simple way of showing how thankful I am that eventhough I don't have a "special someone" with me, life is still good because of them. I will probably just stay home or have dinner with friends, if they've ask me out. Happy Hearts Day!
