What instrument do you play?

I play guitar form ten years,I stay on my instruments about 1 hour at day and I improve my tecnique year by year,know I play various songs from van halen,bon jovi,extreme,Mr. Big and a some acoustic songs from tommy emmanuel but I'm not a virtuoso because I don't like play guitar 10 hour at the day.

I play guitar and piano from 4-5 years ago... I used to be guitarist in my band. but now I am keyboardist/lead synth.. I play various song and genre, like rock (Mr.BIG, Metallica, GNR), Reggae, R n B. and ttryin to learn jazz now...

Yes i like music that you like,my dream is to play as Paul gilber but is very difficult because Paul is God!

hi mark. i play the drums and have done for about 20 years now. i have played in a few bands over the years and nearly got signed to a record label. never happened though. oh well! have always enjoyed playing and kicking out a good beat. keep playing every day mate and you will get better and better. do you play in a band? good luck!

Yes I have played in a band for five years but now I have a professional work and I have little time for music ,however i play a day at week with my friends and we have some night to play in pubs,I don't play more than an hour at day.

Remember that a very important thing is not the quantity of hour but the quality of your hour when you play try to play without mistake is important.

I don't play any musical instruments and I'm very envious of you. I wish I could play guitar, that is the one instument I've always wanted to learn how to play. Clearly you spend a lot of time practicing and that is great. Do you play by ear or can you read music as well?

No I study almost all by ear it needs time but sometime i help me with tablature in particular when i must paly difficult and sppedy guiatr solos,I like to learn song listenings the songs on my home stereo.

I've played the drums for some five years now. I'd say that I am reasoably good as it, but not yet as good as I wish to be someday. I can also play the bass guitar but don't really dedicate so much time into it.

Practice is important but there are some people that have a no common talent, they play all so naturaly.

After a couple of decades of very little music activity, I started taking violin lessons. In my fourth month, I grimace at the sounds I'm making, but at least I'm finally playing in a clear tone (though the tune most of the time is off!) Each week we see improvement though, and hopefully in a year or two I can be adequate.
