Have you ever bought anything from SPAM e-mail ads?

I've had a dozen e-mails into my inbox tonight selling anything from grocery items to viagra, or offering finance and mortgages. Has anyone here ever purchased anything? I'm really curious. Just wondering are these online pharmacies etc. actually making any money because I certainly don't give them a second look. I delete every single one of them.

Ok, so that's everyone on this page of responses does the same as I do. WE all delete the e-mails. So why do they keep sending them out? It's baffling me. They don't seem to be generating any business for themselves.

I used to look through them, when I first got my maestro card, but then I realised how CRAP they were, and I took to using hotmail and my free junk-mail folder -- I didn't even realise I'd had one before-hand!
I don't know anyone who trusts those adds -- I mean, who's to say they won't just take your money and run?

I know. Certainly, none of the emails I've ever received look very professional.

I never read them and I always block them from sending further spam. When I had just moved into my new house, I only had a dial up connection to the internet, and it took me forever to download my mail due to the amount of spam that was coming in, and it was costing me a fortune. If I could get my hands on the louts that are sending them, I would cheerfully wring their necks.

I get 200 spam emails in my gmail inbox in one day. Yes 200 spams per day. I don't even read them. I just delete all my spams. Forget buying from them. I don't even have time to read my actual mails.

Never! If they're slimey enough to spam to get business.. they're slimey enough to not give up the goods or even run with personal info and cause you much harm!

Like you I always delete them strait, without looking in. There are lots of chances that those spam e-mails can carry viruses, you never know. So, I don't take a chance.

I don't even read them. When I see them in my emails I delete them right then and don't even think twice about it. So no, I've never bought anything from them.

I have never bought anything from spam and never would. If they need to use that tactic to get business then I figure it must not be worth the time to do it properly. I dont trust any of the spam I get. I delete them immediatley if they do manage to get into my inbox.
