labor laws in plain language refer to the set of rules that employers should abide by in how employees are treated. wages, work schedules, overtime, holidays, days off, vacation days, etc. - these are some of the different topics that are covered by labor laws. if you want to learn more about a specific topic, let me know. however, labor laws may vary from one state to the next and from one country to another as well.

One important aspect of USA labor laws is the difference between being exemot or nonexempt from them. Most employees are nonexempt from labor laws while most managers are exempt. An example is that employees must be compensated for overtime work but managers do not have to be compensated for over time. There many more examples. Minimum wage is a labor law. Do you a specific issue you want answered?
