Does the music that you like reflects on your personality?

I am a pretty laid back guy most of the time and I think my music allows the stress that builds to disolve, making me a pretty laid back guy. My mood tells me what I want to listen to or something can play that puts in the mood to pick up my guitar and strum along. Music is deep into who I am that it's hard to explain. I am 54 and music just makes me. End of sentence. Music just makes me... If it wasn't for music in my life, life would have really sucked big time. I can't think back to a time that music wasn't a big part of my life. All the emotions that are release through good music changes who your are inside and it's not always the lyrics. I get my feelings from the music and the lyrics can help or I can just let them slide by and take in the music. There is so much from country to rock and blues. I am 54 and it's been music all those years so I have more music in my head than probably anything else. :)
