What do you do on Australia Day? We always have a big BBQ and whilst we are cooking the snags, prawns and steak on the barbie (with onions of course) we have a big game of backyard cricket with an esky loaded with beers and softdrinks for the kids of course.
If you're not from Australia, what do you do on your national day or your day of independance?

We spend the day down on the Geelong waterfront at Skandia watching all the yachts coming in and they have entertainment and food and drink and it is such a fun day!

Australia Day sounds very much like our own Canada Day which is held on July the first. We pretty much do the same either go camping or stay home and BBQ with family and friends. The evening is capped off with a fireworks display! Cheers!
