Private or Public school???

I will be sending mine to public school all the way through as there is no way we can afford to go private. Also, the uniforms are too expensive, and the people are snobs.

my grandchildren are in Catholic orParochial school, mostly because their fathers are catholic, but also because the classes are smaller, the teachers insist on respect for everybody, and the kids get rewarded for good bahavior. Once a month, theschool has christian action awards for things, For instance, when someone who ws prevuously been doing poorly in a subject suddenly gets a concept and does really well, they get an award for achievement. My oldest grandchild got an award last year for helping the smaller kids across a patch of ice on the sidewalk before the janitor had a chance to sand it. My youngest grandson got an award for standing up to bullies on the playground,(which is hilarious, since he wass the youngest child at theschool) thus aiding another student. Even my middle grandson, who is a little terror, got an award for not interrupting the class for a whole day. They ensure that all kids get an award for something at least once per year and try to make sure another family member is present, thus building self esteem

well when my daughter go's to school she will b going to public school. why send to private school your just paying twice. we pay taxes for the public schools and would still have to pay them even if we send them to private school and then have to pay for private school. why pay for both.
