Er the thing that annoys me is a person, does that count? LOL. This house would be just right, this area would be just right and the quietness and peace I get is perfect, apart from one little, well not so little snag have to share my home with someone else. I love the countryside and I need peace. I suppose the biggest annoyance to me about this place is the fact that my bedroom is so small, it really is a tiny room, the previous tenants had their 4 year old son in the bedroom so you can imagine just how small it is. Sadly no room for a double bed!

I've become trapped into being dependent!
I am a very independent person. But we moved here just over a year ago and I have found that I can not go out and get a job because the school hours here does not take working parents hours into consideration.
In Florida, the different schools started out at different times to help working parents. But here, they start the elementary last and I would have to put 4 out of 7 children into before school care.
The cost of child care is insane if one have more than one child.
Sure, I could do it if I only have one child in before school care...maybe even two!
But multiply that by FOUR! I can not afford child care and work...the paycheck would be going directly to the child care! What about gas? What would I be working for?
So, that irritates me! I want to work and be able to help support my family. And I do not like feeling dependent on my partner. It does not feel like a partnership when I am not earning money to help.

This used to be such a quiet Area now we have the teenagers on the Corners shouting and that I have a nosy Neighbour who wants to know everyones Buisness and if he can't find out he gossips and now we have someone living over the Road who thinks he owns the road and parks where he pleases even if he blocks the road

Our cities Electric Company sets right behind my house. Once a week they blow their smoke stacks out and it vibrates my windows. I so hate that! When we first moved here, we had no clue, then one night we heard this horrible rummble and we ran outside. I know we had to look silly running around the house looking for where that sound was coming from. I can't waite until we move.

I don't like where we live as it is so built up. I grew up in the country and I miss the trees and fields. The park nearest to us is totally unsafe for my daughter to play in (I'm sure you can all guess at the disgusting litter we find in the playpark) and we have a pub just minutes down the road from us.
I could go on all day but I'd only get down over things.

oh i could make a whole list...
we only looked at one apartment building and liked what we saw so we went for it.
1. it's on top of a mountain, with a nearly vertical climb at the very end so it can be real scary in the winter
2. it's on a cliff overlooking 3 sets of train tracks that service most of the east coast
3. it's next to a dam so when the trains pass going towards the dam they have to lay on the horn
4. the maintenance company sucks and they keep thinking they can fix my broken central air unit. we went all of last summer without air.
5. no matter who lives below us, they seem to have a thing for surround sound systems that shake my floor.
6. my roommate moved out and i couldn't find a new place in time so i'm paying for more apartment than i need for another year.
7. i've lived here for 2 years so the place has had a good amount of wear and tear. my security deposit will be missed.
that's an abbreviated list, but it covers most of the major problems.

The smog and the cars. Toronto is a wonderful city in all other respects. But we have the worst gridlock in the country - we're even gaining on L.A. In the summer I have an asthma attack that lasts for two months and numerous people die as a result.

I live in an apartment complex and we have trains running right behind us. They get so loud you can't hear what people are saying when they go past. We also have a very steep road comming up to our apartment and I always worry when it starts snowing if we'll have an accident. Thankfully we're moving in a couple months so I wont have to worry about it after this winter.

Great post, by the way! I can't stand where I live right now. We're currently working on moving to a new home. We will stay in the same town, but not the same neighborhood. There's a lot of crime...break-ins, fights, vandalization...where we currently are, and that's my main complaint!!!!!!!!
