Should I Read All The Replys Before I Respond?

I have a question about myLot etiquette. Do you expect other people to read the responses given by other members before they make a reply themselves? I don't always read all the reply's other people have made if its over two pages. I still read a few of the replys and post a response and if I'm really interested in the topic then I'll read more, but I don't always have the time to read all the replies. Should I try and make the time to read all the replies before I make a reply myself?

Well I know for myself I read the full discussion and then I read the responses made. Now if it's over 5 pages I might skim some of the pages but at least the first two and last one I read fully. I want to be able to contribute not just say the same things every one else.

Yeah thats a good point. Its probably best to scan the responses and see if anyones said what you've said. Sometimes if I'm going to be replying with an answer and I want to know if anyone else has said it, I just use the "Find" feature that most web browsers offer. Its a quick way to make sure youre not repeating yourself.

I would just wait til you have a number of them before picking a best response I think it is okay to respond to each as you get them if you think they are worthy of response

I think you mis-read the discussion. But you do make a good point either way though
