The reason i started this discussion is b/c i pretty much know that the republicans have ran out of time in the office. so it is up to the democrats to take over. The question is which will it be Barack Obama or Hilary Clinton. I personally am going to vote for Obama i would like to hear your thoughts on this as well. Thank you so much

Look at Bill Richardson from New Mexico. He is now in the race and has lots of experience and can lead. He would be a great choice and would work well with Obama, Clinton, Biden or Edwards. Democrats have a deep lineup of great candidates ,one of which will be the next president of the United States.

Personally I think that it will be Obama. Although Hilary has been doing well lately, and the younger generation sees her and her accomplishments over the past decade or so, I think that people who are over 50 will vote Obama-these are the people who have seen Hilary at her worst.
I also think that Obama will get the votes of the minority. And in this country, the minority is quickly becoming the majority. I would hate to see Hilary in office. Go to www.barackobama.com to learn more and to sign up for his team.

If the Republicans can get a good moderate candidate that is distanced from Bush, he might win, but only because of the Democratic choices. Hilary is so polarizing and Barack Obama either doesn't have an opinion or hasn't been a politician long enough to take a position on many issues. Both of the Democratic candidates have some serious flaws that might counteract the knee jerk reaction to Republican candidates.
Remember everyone though Bush was out for sure in 2004....

I would vote for Clinton. Who is Obama? What experience does he have? From what I have just read, he is a junior senator. No where near enough experience for the White House. Now, if he were to be Clintons running mate, that would be different. We need someone with experience, not just someone that looks good in a bathing suit. They are comparing him to JFK, but at least John had experience. I think Obama needs a few more years in the senate, get more experience and then try again. One thing America doesn't need, is another mistake. Lets get this country back on track. What is Obama's platform?

i like obama, but i think hillary will win the vote, since she's having a good past track records, and more capable to soften the american agressive action. While obama, i don't know him, it's kinda worried me to vote on someone that i don't know well

I would love to have Obama. But I have a feeling he should be primed as the vice president for right now. I would like to see Hillary run with Obama as her running mate

I am definetly with you on this one. I am going to vote for obama there is no way i am voting republican this year. i dnot even know who is going to run for the republicans but it better be someone who can turn a lot of stuff around. I know that ashley is voting for hilary b/c she wants to see a woman president and i bet a lot of women think that. but that is cool
