Are you immature?

i work in customer service for billing and often get irate customers concerning billing issues. usually it is because they don't understand their bill because they added services in the middle of a month and are being prorated. a lot of times, customers get mad and hang up or threaten to come to the office and kick our butts. I think it's funny and tell them be sure they ask for me when they come in that i'll be happy to help them. none of them ever show up. It makes me mad though when customers chew me out over the phone but when the service tech goes out they are fine. when customers hang up on me in frustration i call them back sometimes just because i get a rise out of it and tell them "i think we got disconnected, we were discussing your bill". I've never gotten a confirmed hang up and most of the time i'm able to turn the call around at that point but i just get a big kick out of immature people. i admit, i am a little immature with the way i handle some customers but really some people need to pass an aptitude or IQ test to be let out into civilization.
