How do you MyLot?

How do you go about using MyLot? Do you surf everyday?
Which sections are your favorite?
How do you go about actually looking for and responding to posts?
My favorite section is Society/Culture so I usually browse there. I begin my time on MyLot by looking through the first 3 pages of most recent discussions and responding to the ones that are interesting.
When I have a lot of time, I go through each of the sections that interest me, and I go through the first 5 pages of discussions and middle click them. This opens them in a new tab in Firefox. I keep going through each section I enjoy (5 pages deep) and opening all the interesting discussions in new tabs, until I have gone through all of them. Then I go through all the tabs and respond one by one through all the discussions I had chosen. Once I'm done I know I covered a lot of the discussions I wanted to respond to for the time being, so I can sit back and wait a while until new discussions might come up.

I come on and check if anyone has posted replies to my discussions... i read their responses and reply if neccessary... then i go to see what friends have posted and reply to them... after that i will move on to any type of discussion mostly pets or relationships...

I do the same thing as Datingtheplayer, I first check responses on my discussions, then I check my responses on discussions I posted to. I used to check on discussions based on my interests, but don't do it as much since they changed the way they're listed. So, I check discussions my friends started instead.
I usually browse for subjects that I'm interested in that don't have a gob of responses yet.

Yeah, I wish Mylot would change "Discussion from my Interests" back to the way it was because its pretty useless the way it is now, and it was much better the other way.

i usually start by looking at new discussions and maybe ones ive responded to. otherwise i might check the ones with no responses if i can be bothered. other days i check the ones friends have started but i usually start with new discussions every visit no matter what i end up doing

I usually start off by commenting on the responses made to discussions I've started. Then I reply to discussions that interest me from the "discussions my friends have started". I respond to ones that have come as a mail notification. that way I don't have to search them. Then I move to the new discussions and keep flipping between this and the top discussions. Whenever I get bored can't find anything in the lsits even after going 20 pages, I choose a friend and check ou their discussions. When every topic that comes my way is bugging me, then I know its time to stop..lol!I start afresh the next day.

I haven't been spending as much time on MyLot these days as I did in the beginning, so I usually respond first to "discussions my friends have started", then I browse through the first few pages of the new discussions to see if anything interests me. I always check the "top discussions" also, but usually find that I have already responded to them. After that, if I have time to spare, I like your suggestion about opening all of the discussions in different tabs. I'm going to try that; it seems like an efficient way to get things done.

Yes , most of the day i will spent atleast one hour in this site not in the keen interest of making money but to participate in many interesting discussions , get knowledge and to improve my language .. I use to read all the responses of a discussion before myself being concerned to post and this will take a lotta time .. I dont have a particular fav section but do love to reply quality discussion created by fellow members and rate them..

I log in here in mylot for an average of four hours a day. Usually attending to discussions, either posting for answers and or reading those responses from the discussions that i have started and if time permits i try to post some feed back also to those responses. greetings. : )

I surf everyday on mylot more or less.Although I can't post a big number of post daily but I try to make quality response.

I start by responding to my responders first. Then I check out new discussions from my friends, then if I have time I check the newbies discussions to respond to one of theirs. then I check out the first page. I hop and skip around a lot since everyone doesn't tag their discussions I don't do the search much.

i spend my time here mostly just by just replying to others discussions, and i browse my favorite topics either through the search engine on the top left corner or i always go to the "unanswered discussions" tab. and yea, i do surf mylot everyday. i really dont know my favorite topics i just answer what i can help on.

I am a netadict.I spend hours on internet.Its not a particular section i visit.I visit those sections where i think i can respond to questions.

When first I sign in. I check my profile. I like picture. So, I see more picture from all the members here. And then I interest about the opinion/discussion. That's very cool... I always try to give a good opinion. But I think I can't do this everyday cos of my job not connect with internet. Hiks so poor

I surf everyday, yes. So far I've only checked out and replied to discussions that are recent. I go through about 10 pages a day and reply to those I feel I have something to say to.

I chose this topic because I got curious. I'm still very new in mylot and I haven't developed surfing techniques yet. I've seen my daughter do this for months now and I'ved just decided to try it. Yes, I find it enjoyable and it's fun sharing ideas. However, I found that there are quite a number of informative items in here.

i do visit mylot everyday and spend atleast 3 hours to 5 hours in this site. seems like my day is not complete without logging in here.
i usually go to the family section and health and fitness sections. but i don't do this everyday.
i always love responding to topics on the "top discussions'" list. then, i go over to other discussion parts such as interestests, new discussions, discussions with no response, discussions i've responded to and discussions i've started.
i try to get and visit everything before logging out.

First of all i go thru discussions taking place in my intersts...i respond to some interesting ones ( if any ), and then i see the main page of discussions and i always catch up something interesting, i respond to them. And while myloting if i get something amzing on ma mind which i feel i shud express i start a new discussion...

I try to surf everyday just so that im making some money but there are days i only respond to a few discussions either because i just dont feel like it or because i cant find anything that intresting. I would'nt say i browse a certian section, i usually go thur the first few pages of the top discussions and then also the first few pages of recent and new discussions. Recently i have been wanting to make more money on here so i think i will start browseing a little more and maybe for a little longer.

The first thing I check at Mylot is Discussions I've responded to . Then I got to the intrests and look at the topics goin on and what the people are replying over there and I myself take part in those discussions . Ocassionaly I post Pics also in my Intrests area.

I logon to Mylot everyday. Usually for about an hour. First I check the recent discussions, then I look under my interests. If I see an interesting discussion, I will respond to it. Or if I have something on my mind I will post a new discussion. I tend to respond more than starting new discussions though.

I first do check out, whether any one has responded to my discussions. If yes, I would try posting some comments. Then I usually browse through the interests, mainly 'mylot.com' and 'relationships'. That's where I post most of my responses. I also take care responding to the discussions my friends have started, hoping that they will check mine too!
