Why is it so that we fall/rise in love and feel something unearthly?

Love is a feeling that every human being on earth senses the aura of it. But why is it that we feel the sensation in respect to only a particular person??? Is there any behind the reasons that you love someone and not everyone???

Each one has that something special about them that just make them really memorable and ..... so it's no surprise that we fall/rise in love and feel something unearthly.
