I was just wondering if anyone has seen any information on when premature babies (micro preemies) should reach developmental milestones. I know about adjusting their age to the original due date but at what point does it become a significant delay that needs assessment?

I had a baby at 27 weeks. Doctors always said to go by corrected age which would mean she was 3 months behind other kids developmentally. at age 18 months she had her preemie developmental testing done at the hospital. they said that she was at a 2 year old's lever so not to go by corrected age anymore considering she was allready ahead of the actual age. anyway they say that by age 3 preemies should be caught up and if they are still not then i'd have them evaluated.
