Dreams, What do they mean ?

Over the past several month I have been dreaming a lot. I dreamed that I was all wet and I went to my old homeplace and a bunch of my dead relatives were there. They talked to me and took my clothes and dried them, they all kept telling me everything was alright. I couldnt figure out what they were trying to tell me, then the next day I found out my oldest son had been in a boating accident with 2 of his friends in the icey cold waters of Wisconsin. One of his friends died but he and the other were rescued.
I have had several dreams since that time and always there is a dead relative or dead friend but I cant figure out what they are trying to tell me, The last few dreams had both the living and the dead in them. I had a strange dream tonight where a dead friend was telling me and my wife not to let our son play with the children of drugs addict (he is only 4 years old)He said we should be very careful about who we allowed our child to play with.
Anyone know what these dreams mean and why I keep dreaming about dead people and now dream about both dead and living people ?

That last part sounds to me like a warning and I got the chills when I read it. There are some good books available on this subject and I would look into. I'd give you titles but I've been away from that stuff so long that I don't remember who the author was.

I woke up from dreaming about my grandmother. She just pasted away last month. I have did this before with my granddad so I wasn't expecting to have a dream about her this soon. I mean I expected it but not so soon.
