What won't you eat?

In the US, we're pretty finicky about what we will and won't eat. They don't think twice about eating dogs and cats in China. Some people in the world eat horses, which horrifies most Americans. We're not too big on bugs either.
Personally, I don't eat baby animals or anything that plays. If it came down to survival I could probably eat anything up to and including human flesh, but thankfully, it hasn't come to that (yet (:).
Why don't we eat monkeys? But cows and chickens are just fine? Is it a matter of intelligence? Then what's up with bugs? Why do we get grossed out thinking of hillbillies eating possum? Is it all just cultural?

Me neither. I don't even want them on my skin! I've often wondered what people who don't eat cows for religious reasons think of Americans who eat so many of them. Most of us just take it for granted that they are food over here.
