Why are so many people so bad at spelling?

Do you mean at mylot or generally? here at mylot it's because there's money involved, some people type too fast and never care to correct their spelling or typos, also many people who are not good at English are using mylot for the money only, other people are just being "cool" and typing according to the cyber age spelling rules :)
