I would want Sachin and Ganguly to open with Uthappa at No. 3. Dravid/Sehwag/Dhoni at No. 4 depending on the overs remaining.

i think gambir is not as good as compared with sehwag as the latter gives u more option with his spin option and comes more than handy and also sehwag is more likely to give indian an explosive start when chasing a higher target than gambir

Yups....
i mean we all know that Shewag is a Blaster and many times he makes india to feel the smell of Victory...
ya definetly he is out of form these days but still like others i think he will manage to be in world cup squad...
by his effort and consistency.. he will goin to blast in this world cup..

How did we know about the blistering performance of the openers? It was because ganguly was promoted up the order and gambhir was brought back or rather they both were givena chance and so i think surely sehwag will be given a chance and if he gets going the opening will be even more ballistic!

i think best opener for indian team is sachin tendulkar and saurav ganguly.. Actually, they made so much records on opening the inning for india...So, I think They both should come forward for opening for this world cup....and sehwag should come at first down...

yes, sehwag can back his comeback. because we already seen his performance before. he has score 300+ runs in the test match. he loose his concerntrate and he loose his batiing... he need his touch back and if he done well in national game in ranji i am sure he will comeback.
