The titles go for america, Roddick and Serena :)

So i think that the winners of this year AUS Open will be Sharapova and Federer. Today when i watch the game of Gonzales commentators says that in all matches between Federer and Gonzales, Gonzales has take only 3 or 4 games and this is not in one match ! Gonzales even dont have won set. Federer is the winner in men's singles for me. Sharapova i think will win this final because she have the possibility to make Serena get tired and. We all see that she get some extra kilograms and she is not so quick as she was. Sharapova is the winner in women's singles for me :) Good luck

Well Serena has done very well and made the semi-finals - she will play Nicole Vaidisova (CZE). I think that Nicole has the game to beat Serena. Serena must be feeling the effects of two very hard 3 set matches against hard-hitting players. I am looking forward to the Hingis vs Clijsters match. The winner gets to play in the semi-final against the winner of Maria Sharapova and Anna Chakvetadze (RUS). I still think that Sharapova and Clijsters are the stongest players in the Open at the moment. I think Hingis will struggle against her friend Clijsters. Apparently they are good friends off the court. Clijsters has the big forehand and great serve to win. Martina stated that if she is not 100% on her own game she will be blown away by Clijsters. I am looking forward to a semi-final between Clijsters and Sharapova - here's hoping. Clijsters to win the Australian Open - she has huge crowd support here in Aussie land.

Looks like Gonzalez is in the zone too - a 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 win over Tommy Haas. Like Federer he won in about one and half hours with minimal unforced errors and a string of winners. What will be interesting, is which one of them can remain in the zone for the final. My suspicion is that Gonzalez could beat Federer if he maintained the standard he has shown over his last two matches. However, this is a big event for him - the semi-final is the first time that he has been in a Grand Slam semi-final, so being in the final will be a huge occasion for him. This will affect his game. Federer has been there so many times, I don't think his game will be affected as much - but we will have to wait and see. Gonzalez has it all at the moment, good court strategy, great forehand, backhand, serve and volley (plus smash). Here's hoping it will be a great final - it is nice to see someone else challenging Federer. One thing for sure is that Federer will not take Gonzalez lightly.
