yes it is the best way to keep a person healthy and happy.By smiling it helps in our jaw movement and more than that it is a way accepted medically.

A man walks into his doctor's office and sits down in the waiting room. While he is waiting his turn to be seen, a casual acquaintance walks in and sits down next to him.
The newcomer asks, "W w what are yyy you ddd doing here?"
The man replies, 21"I am waiting to see the doctor."
"W wwhy dd do yyy you wwant to sss see hhim?"
The man replies, "Well, if you must know, I have a prostate problem.
"A pp prostate ppp problem, jan.wwhat's ttthat?"

I agree. And laughter can definately defuse a tense situation. Now here's a joke that might make you smile.
A ventriloquist comes onto the stage with his dummy and starts his act. One bit requires his dummy to tell Dumb-Blonde Jokes. After a few jokes, an angry blonde woman finally stands up and starts speaking her mind.
"I have had it with the stereotyping of all blondes being stupid!" the woman yells, and she continues ranting on about this.
Finally, the ventriloquist says, "Sorry ma'am ..."
The woman cuts him off by saying, "You stay out of this. I'm talkin' to the dummy."
