Hi, obviously there's no doubt regarding who's the blazing batsman and crowd entertainer. But on observing both behind the stumps I think that Dinesh karthik's collection, anticipation, catching skills and reflexes are marginally better than Dhoni. What do you think?

There is no doubt that Dinesh kartik is better behind the wickets and he is doing with bat too. i think he should be given chance in test cricket. After a long time India have two wicket keepers which are decent behind the wickets and play there role nicely while batting too. I remember the time when dravid used to do wicket keeping because there was no keeper available who can do with bat.

well. cant say anithing.. because in wicket keeping both are same. but in batting dhoni is master blaster, and kartik is defending player. when india on big score dhoni is helping to increase run rate. but when india loose wicket kartik help to stick on wicket. so cant say

Both are matinee idols for sure..superb entertainers ....but i think shahid afridi edges out Dhoni by a slender marjin on the ferocity and audacity of stroke play...some of the sixes hit by Dhoni are from hilarious positions wheras Afridi hits are clean as a whistle. But Afridi is wondefully inconsistent and therein lies his folly.......

I also agree that Dhoni is better than kartik because of his batting ability and wicket keeping ability. Dhoni is a clear striker of the ball. I think Dhoni should be used for ODI version of the game and Karthik should be used for longer version of the game. Now a days there are lots of number of games played by a country. Wicket keeping is one of the toughest job in cricket. I think it would be wise to rotate Karthik and Dhoni in between the games so that both of them does not burnout.

both the players are very good there is no second thought about it. But when we have to compare then I think dinesh is a better keeper than dhoni. His collection behind the stumps, his reflexes are slightly better than the only. But I would like to say what makes him different from dhoni is his dependable break of scoring runs. He is technically a very sound player and so he is a better choice in the longer version of the game. dhoni is an explosive player and he is very useful though one day matches.

According to me, dhoni is not only better wicket player and he is a stroke players. He is also a match winner. Now, he is in the 3rd rank in World top batsmen list. In the last match against Westindies, he played superbly and that innings pushed him to 3rd rank in World top batsmen list.
