yes it is and it been started in india a very long time ago, its good means to keep our health in tandem,,,,,,,, i advice all to do yoga and meditation every day

Yoga is a combination of a physical and meditative practice (though some use the physical without the meditation as a form of exercise).
Meditation is a mental and spiritual practice that focuses on calming the mind. There is also gudied meditation which leads you to places within your mind. Just do a web search on both and you'll find tons of information.
