I am so much confused

I have a friend and she was married 2 years back to a nice wealthy guy and yesterday when I met her she was little sad and confused and when I ask her she refuse to tell me but on insisting she told me her story which confused me too. She said that for the last 3 and a half month she is having a affair with her neighbour and then last week her husband caught her red handed but instead of being angry he reacted normally and even told her wife that he still loves her no matter what but I and my friend cannot understand is how can a man or a women can still live so normally with their partners even when they find out their partners is cheating on them. Is he really ok with all this or is he trying to act normal as if nothing happened. I am so much confused and I asked my self what I will do if I find out that my life partner is cheating on me?What will you do? Please share your comments on this.
