Are you the follower of new age ideals such as meditation, yoga, past life regression, astrology, palmisty, tarot cards or prescience (insert any other new age discipline or ideaology into this list. Tell us about it, what it does for you, what others claim the practice will or will not do for you, how it's done, when/how often. Would you recommend it?

Not anymore. This was my lead into a serious course in meditation and regression that led to transformation. I've found alot of new age doctrines to be shallow and don't have a great deal of depth to the proof of their teachings.
Yoga is great, but unfortunately most yoga instructors are actually gym teachers!
If you are going to do astrology, don't think newspaper and magazine horoscopes. Astrology is an amazing science, but don't be fooled into thinking that because you are an Aries you are best suited to a Libran - this is rubbish and gives true Astrologers a bad name. If you do want to pursue Astrology look for someone with integrity.
Tarot is okay, as long as you have done alot of work on yourself. The symbology in Tarot is wonderful. But if you don't understand it then you are really going to a fortune teller.
Past Life regression is okay. But the only reason one should do it, is if it will help you in this one. Otherwise it's only entertainment. If it's not for transformation then don't waste your time. So many people say they were Cleopatra! I do believe in past lives, I've seen a few but, it's a 'so what' experience unless it has a purpose for this life.
Meditation is amazing. But again visualisation of trees and the ocean are relaxation techniques and should not be put in the same sentence as meditation. If you can meditate (quieten the mind), a consequence is a sense of stillness which you could call relaxation. But they are not the same.
Meditation by the way will bring up emotional issues, which will lead to needing to work these out. A form of regression therapy is helpful. (But finding out you were Cleopatra doesn't help!)
Re palmistry. I've had a hand reading which was amazing. But not all palm readers are amazing.
