Do you think the dead can communicate with the living?

I've had an experience years back when my uncle died. I was the only relative around him that cared for him... he died unexpectedly and when he was still alive in the hospital, I was at home on my computer at about 3am and I heard him calling me from outside our gate. He is the only one who calls me "net" and I really looked at the gate and felt creepy... then he died a few days later. It took weeks for me to take care of his cremation and when everything was set, on my way home one day in this little street by my house someone called me "net" and I looked back but saw nothing... it really sounded like him and he was the only one who called me "net" at those specific spots. Anyway, that was it. I think the first time he called me he was saying goodbye and the second time, he was thanking me for taking care of his cremation. What do you think? And no, I'm not nuts!
