Finish my first book / myLot

I wonder if there are any authors (published or "aspiring") who are working on a book that just doesn't seem to get finished? Or maybe you have finished one or more, even better! I would like to hear from anyone regarding your success at completing your work, whether published or not, or your frustrations at not being able to finish that project that is so dear to you.

You are not alone. Why do you think the publishing industry and especially the "self publishing" industry is so huge and thriving? I am a professional book reviewer. I've seen all types of books come through. Most that are "self published" are that way for a reason. Very few are of the quality needed to make it.

Thanks for responding. You are my first! It's almost like graduating or something. Well, I hope the two books I am working will represent some quality. But I will probably go the route of self-publishing when the time comes. Thanks again.
