How do you explain the ´Evolution Theory´ to your kids?

Yesterday one of my friend told me about how her older brother and his wife explained the ´Evolution Theory´ to their 14 year old daughter. The reaction they got from their daughter was, she wouldn´t believe such a theory is true, therefore is a lie. She keep insisting to believe in God, who created Adam and Eve and this earth, etc. The other thing she asked to her parents was, how could people (including her parents) keep going to the churches if such a theory is true?... Do you have some problems? How did you comunicate in such topics to your kids?...
