I like experimenting on food and mushroom is my favorite treat. Could anyone give me cool recipes with mushrooms and other ingredients that are easy to cook? I've already tried mushroom and cheese so other suggestions would be best appreciated. thanks!

if you haven't tried this out yet, this is an easy one to work on: simply sautee mushrooms in butter and onion for a delicious meal. sometimes, if i'm short on time, this is what i usually take with me to work.

My favorite thing to do is to take three or four varieties of muchrooms---button, shittake, and whatever else I can get--and cook them in 6 cups of chicken broth. Add one cup of diced chicken and about a cup of rice. It makes a nice rice/chicken soup with lots of yummy mushrooms.

There are various different dishes that I make when it comes to mushrooms. When of our favorites around our house have to be mozzarella mushroom burgers. I find them to be rather simple & also so very tasty. I included the recipe below for you if you'd like to try it sometime. Thanks for allowing me to share. xx
"Mozzarella Mushroom Burger."
Ingredients are as follows:
- 4 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup of dijon mustard
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
1. Preheat your propane/gas grill on medium or your charcoal grill until the ash on the coals is white. Or preheat broiler/oven to 350 degrees F. Or you could fry your burgers as well. Whatever your preference is!
2. Melt 1 tbsp. of butter in a skillet until it is sizzling....then add your mushrooms.Cook them over medium heat for 5 - 8 minutes or until they are a light brown color. Remove them from the heat but keep them warm.
3. Take the ground beef and shape it into 4 3/4 inch patties. Place the patties on the preheated grill and cook throroughly, for 15 - 18 minutes until they are done. Don't forget to flip them once while they cook!
4. To finish the burgers, spread 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard on each cut side of the buns. Place one patties on the bottom side of the bun. Then top them with 1/4 of the amount of mushrooms, a slice of cheese and the top portion of the bun. Repeat with the remainder of the burgers and ingredients. Enjoy!

Sorry, but i have a mushroom and cheese recipe that is the bomb.
fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced. place them on a cookie sheet in a single layers. buy some high quality fresh mozzarella cheese (no bagged cheese, please) and rip some pieces off and toss them on the mushrooms. drizzle with good extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and then a little bit of fresh oregano on top of all that. place under the broiler until the cheese is golden.
