hello dr. priti, can you recommend any remedies, or homeo medicines for me. I am 22 year old, suffering from allergies causing breathing problems, with asthma that is normally dormant but can get triggered at times and become very severe. I also have sinus problem, my nasal passage seems to be blocked most of the time, i have to take anti allergy medicines to ease it. I have also had a sinus operation because things were getting out of control. Though i am better than before but my breathing problems continue... I am very concerned about it and want to seek homeopathic therapy... please evaluate my case and help me

Hello,
In Homeopathy,there are medicines for snoring which is given after a detail case taking.One has to rule out the cause for snoring.Obesity,D.N.S.(Deviated Nasal Septum),Obstruction in the nose,smoking,lack of exercise.Along with Homeopathic medicines,one should also do breathing exercises,sleep on one side,reduce obesity.

I would have really told you the medicines,but in Homeopathy we require a lot of information,regarding your nature which contribute to the mental symptoms in Homeopathy.There is a process called case taking where we record all your symptoms and then prescribe a remedy, as in Homeopathy medicine differs from individual to individual.There are many medicines for snoring,as you have a nasal polyp,the probable remedies are Thuja,Nux Vomica.But please do not take as case taking is very important in Homeopathy.

I'm really intersted to know what homeopathy is and does it really works . I mean homeopathic cures . I have heard they are of no use what do u say , are they eqvivalent to modern science and their cures. Help me to know more about homeopathy .

Hi,
Homeopathy is useful in treating all the diseases,from simple cold to cancer.There are limitations in Homeopathy as every system of medicine has.Cure also depends on the stage of disease.I would say instead of taking antibiotics, pain killers it's better to take Homeopathic medicines and keep antibiotics when they are really required in emergencies.To know about Homeopathic cures, u can visit my brother's website,who is also a homeopathic doctor, www.hhomeopathy.com
