I am writing about youth or adult students. If you find that some of the back benchers who are not interested in the subject and are in the class owing to compulsion of their parents, how do you deal with them and motivate them?

Yes i hav eworked as an Asst. professor in an engineering college and what you have said is right some of the back bench students are not interested in the class.
One thing we can do is make them know that we will always be watching them and make sure that we have to ask questions..& let them answer

Thank you friend. But the students who buy seats with money power and enter classes "unwillingly" due to parent pressure, are like horses taken to tank to drink water. How far they can be made to drink water?
