Didn't yet understand the meaning of life!

Often a question clicks in my mind when I am free, it is "what is life?" and I can't express in my words what is life. Why we all have a different thinking? Why do some ppl are sympthetic while others are not? Why do some ppl say life isn't fair, get used to it! For what purpose are we made up for? Do all the good things we do are good? Why do we like our past and future but not our present even though it is not bad!
