How do I save?

Now that I have 3 kids and my husband is the only one who is working, I want to help him even just by saving budgets and all. I went to the grocery this morningm, and I was really trying to find cheaper things that I could buy. I want to save as much as I can but not with poor quality stuffs, or unhealthy diet for my family. Do have any suggestions for me to help me save, but still enjoy cheaper choices? Thank you in advance. I will greatly appreciate it.
