Success Stories with using coupons

Ok every one heres a chance to tell your success stories while using coupons. You know the ones where you wanted to hoop and hollar and do a little dance at the check out stand cause you saved so much money.
I have one that really stands out in my mind. I was just doing the buying of the advertised specials and a few items that we needed and I had coupons for almost all the items I had in my cart I had $35.89 on the original price and with the coupons I ended up paying $10.49. I was thrilled.
So share your stories as encouragment to all of us to keep saving money and using our coupons.

My best shopping spree was 2 years ago when I paid zero for $434 of groceries. It was so much fun, as I even had a free milk coupon, which is so rare for me. Some items that were in the cart: meat, milk, cereal and several frozen meals. Many people tell me it can't be done, but with careful planning and willing to change brands a free spree can be done. I'm one of the lucky people, as this area doubles coupons to $1.00 and by trading for coupons can save money every time I shop for groceries.

I used to - but I notice stores are getting more and more used to coupons and having stricter rules - like you can only use one type of coupon once, etc.
I used to get all sorts of things and side dishes for near free, but it got to be a pain at the checkout when the cashier often could not figure out what to do, had to check with her manager, etc!

I don't have that problem here so I can't really relate. Here the stores are real nice about coupons and coupon users. Although no one doubles or triples here. Even the commissary here is real good about coupons, sometimes when you are waiting for them to tell you which check out lane to go to they will notice a product you have and give you a coupon for it.
