Why should mobile phones get banned in colleges? Mobile phones are now something as normal as a book or a pen. Everybody uses mobile phones, it's a fast way of reaching your friends, organising your everyday duties, it's the 21st century after all :)

that's absolutely correct. where in the 21st century now. and every body have a phone as today. think what it do to help everyone.

why that should happen? mobile phones now is neccessity to everyone. it makes people connection to each other. maybe inside the class you should not used your phone while in the middle of the class.

i dont think that mobile phones should be banned completely,
but the restriction should be there as students are misusing the cells and doing wrong things which are not good for the young generation,
so there should be a restriction on mobile phones in colleges to certain limit
