real friends or just requests?

I totaly agree with you ! Verry well sayd indeed ! As i sayd in other disscutions i have about 400 friends , i think there not more then 50 fierns that i don't know or never talked to ! The rest of friend i kind of know ! Or are real life friends , or i've talk to them on the internet ! I'll tell you why u're beeing assaulted by friend requests , it's because u'r cute and they want to show the world that they have lots of cute / beautifull people in there friends list ! Probably they'll add you to there top 6 friends just for the world to see :D Have a nice day

I had same kind of problems with Hi5 too and finally decided to delete the account. I do send and accept friendship requests but I also like to be in contact and share views and opinions to know and make new friends otherwise whats the point of just adding and not talking.

Ya u are very much right I got lots of request too and in the beginning I accept them but I never know them as they dont even send a message so why should I.I have 193 friends of which 50/60 I never know them or contact them though they added me.

I don't have more than 200 friends in my hi5, but those I have are my friends, or at least I know them. Some of them are from school, others I just met one day but they are all my friends. I do see a point in adding people you don't know: meeting new people. Of course this only happens if the person who added you talks to you, if not, there is no reason to be friends. I don't add people I don't know, usually they are the one who add me, probably just to have one more friend.

when I send a friend request I always try to write to my new friend. Add me: my user name in hi5 is also missak.

Hi5 is a complete waste of time and effort, you are right in thinking what you do about HI5 its not really a site for making friends.

well i think that this occurs not only inhi5 but also in friendster and myspace and also in this site too. see in friendster or myspace some of the people there just add you so that the list of their friends will grow and it just makes them happy to see the number of the friends they have.. they dont communicate because they are busy adding more friends. i dont know whats the matter with those people.. they have a lot of friends but i doubt if they really really know half of the number of the friends that they have.. so pls dont be one of them and i know your not since you are bugged by it. anyway try to post in your profile that you dont want wannabe friends and those who just add you so that their list of friends will grow. and also delete those who are just using you..
