I use to be a Catholic. A very long time ago.. Now I don't believe in much other than what I want to believe. I learned over the years that religion is useless for me, its just something that makes you into this and that and wants lots of money doing it. And if you don't go by the rules then your done basically..For all of you who are religious, what makes you stay religious??

I applaud you and your choice. I am of the same mind set in that I do not beleive in organized religion for myself. For others it may be what they need, but for me I have absolutely no need for the church. I have felt for a long time that organized religion has a major down side of creating sheep. The religion tells you what to believe, rather than allowing for an individual to interpret the scriptures for themselves and make it a part of themselves. It just seems that EVERY organized religion has the mind set that either you are with us or you are against us.
I also don't like the fact that every war through history has had a religious base for the war. Oh, that or money/greed.
