What makes you FOR the Death Penalty?

I am looking for people who are for the death penalty. I am totally against it and want to know what makes people FOR the death penalty. I just dont understand how just because someone has taken a life that its ok to take their life now.I want to understand how that works.. Thanks..

If someone takes a life why should they be allowed to live?
How would you feel if someone killed your partner or mum?
I wouldnt care about any costs I just wouldnt want to know that they were alive while someone i loved was gone
