I'm such a bad mom

In the last couple of months, I have became so frustrated inside and disgusted. I feel like I am in such a rut. I find myself on such a short leash. I'm a contract autocad tech. and the work just hasn't been coming like it used to. It fluctuates (with the weather mainly). I feel so financially failing to our family. My husband likes me working from home, but I feel the crunch. My husband's job doesn't allow me to find a normal job, not even part-time. I'm with the kids almost nonstop. (That's how I ended up here on mylot actually, looking for some extra money). After all that said,... my 6 yr old didn't like the shirt I put on him for school this am, he wanted a different one. I asked him to please just wear the one I put on him. Listened to him whine about it all my nerves could stand, told him to take it off and I actually took a pair of scissors and cut the shirt up and threw it in the trash. Yes, in front of him. I am so ashamed. I can't believe I snapped like that. He just cried. I'm waiting for him to get home from school so that I can tell him how sorry I am and that what I did was not a good decision. Please tell me that I'm not the only mom out there that has done something so stupid. I'm not an abusive parent, please don't think that at all. Does any other parents out there have any stories they can share?
