Would you complain about something you got for free?

About a year and a half ago I joined the Kripsy Kreme club. They send you out a voucher for your birthday. The first year it was for 1 dozen of their regular doughnuts. Last year it was for a doughnut ice cream sundae. A friend of mind was whinging because they said that the second gift was pathetic compared to the first.
I thought that was totally ungrateful. They don't have to give you anything at all and it didn't cost her anything so why should she have any grounds for being upset?

Oh, that's a pity! I always am grateful for whatever things I get, no matter if it is free or not. I am always happy getting free stuffs. And my motto is, if it's free, how could it be any better lol. Regards

She doesn't have grounds to be upset. She should get a grip! You usually don't get anything. I would have told her if she wasn't happy with the gift, I would take it for her.

Some people are just never happy. They will always find something to complain about. People like that really get on my nerves! lol!
For me, anything I get for free, I love!!! There's no way I'd complain, no matter what it was!

Your friend needs to realize that she could have had nothing at all without the voucher . So what if one was better then the other . They were both free . She does come across ungrateful . In today's world , it is not often you will get something for nothing .
