Crazy Cats

My family has four cats, of which the two oldest cats are from South-Africa. But the oldest female is the one in charge. The two male cats have learned to keep a good 2 feet away from her at all times or she will attack them. Every night when they are looking for a spot to sleep, they orbit around her keeping a nice two feet away. Very amusing when you are half awake. Anybody else have cats that do the same thing?

Cats are so precious, their independence and indivual natures are so funny, four cats are a lot to contend with....sounds like a nice little family.

yes, they are quite something to put up with. And they are all very independent, for example: Gypsie (the oldest) is almost always quite, and she desides when you get to pet her and when you need to stop, where as Jewels (youngest) is the scary cat, she is always hiding, very shy, and only lets you pet her if she knows you long enough. Cats are great.
