Can you believe, organisers of the BIG DAY OUT music/concert in Australia, have BANNED the public from bringing Australian flags! Talk about democracy! In Australia, on Australia Day, NO AUSSIE FLAGS! It's complete & absolute rubbish! The reasoning? That Aussie flags have been used by extremist/racist groups to incite hatred... for crying out loud, that shouldn't mean that the flag is banned! What do you think? Would YOUR COUNTRY allow this to happen? Would YOUR COUNTRY pander to the sensibilities of other cultural groups so much that the national FLAG IS BANNED from public events & celebrations? What do you think???
