Flavoured Vodka

How good is flavoured vodka!! On my birthday on 2 January I went to a Russian restaurant which had 51 types of vodka. Has anyone tried Smirnoff Twist of Vanilla. It´s gorgeous with cola, like an ice cream float. And with lemonade it´s like cream soda. Mmmm! I like chilli vodka too and raspberry vodka.
Wonder if I was Russian in a previous life...

yeah i love them, i havent tasted them all yet but i think ive got most flavours lol, ive tasted apple tho and citrus they are both very nice apple goes best with lemon fanta or cherryaide i think, citrus with lemonaie or coke yummy.
i would love to own a vodka bar how fab

We bought an apple twist one and it was very good. It really was great on meats for cooking believe it or not. It also tasted grat just on it's own as well. I haven't tried the Vanilla but it sounds good. Might have to see if I can get around here.

The apple one sounds good. I sometimes use cider on pork or ribs before barbecuing or cooking. Bet the vodka would do the same. Mmm!

You're from the UK right so I'll bet you know who Jamie Oliver is. He gave this idea in his book where you buy a watermelon, poke a hole into it, use a funnel and pour vodka into it. If I remember correctly, he said leave it in the fridge for 3 days, topping up more everyday.
We tried this an it was really good with just normal Vodka. And then we tried it with the other flavours. Most of them go well with the watermelon, with the exception of Absolut Mandarin and Absolut Citrus. Yech!
