As we become addicted to myLot and spend more time here, how does it affect our relationships? Has myLot changed your relationship for better, for worse, or not at all? In what ways?
In my case, I have been sharing stories concerning what I find here with my husband. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we get serious. Nothing has made us cry, yet.
What is your story concerning myLot and your marriage / relationship?

Well pinkeagle at my place it's just me and the pets. I'm spending more time on the computer so they might have to wait a few minutes for dinner or to be let outside. What's interesting is I'm learning to communicate with my kitten. He will come in and give a squeaky meow. (It's so cute)Then he will get smoochy. I stop and pat him and give him a cuddle then he runs over the keyboard and tries to lie down in front of the mouse and chews the cord. Today I realised he was being obnoxious maybe for a reason...sure enough when I took him to the back door he rushed out to play with the goat. Other times he lays down on the cupboard next to me and goes to sleep.
I have a human friend who I told about MyLot when I first joined. We don't live together and he wasn't interested. I think he's jealous/resentful of the time I spend on the computer anyway.

Well, bless your heart for answering my thread. I thought no one ever would. As to cats and the computer, I have one that hangs around sleeping on top of the monitor. Twice it has fallen asleep and then fell off onto the keyboard! That was exciting.
Thanks, again for responding to my post. I can truthfully say that yours is also the best response so it will be so marked.

I am having mylot during my free time, like during midnight when everybody in the family is asleep. My daugthers and my husband is the priority. Before going to my computer, I see to it that everything is in order. Having mylot is my past time. I enjoy it very much. Sharing experiences and ideas with other mylot members.

Indeed, myLot is a great pass time. I don't think I could do it at midnight though. I get up at 5:00 am and I need my beauty sleep. If I do not get enough sleep, my head turns back white! Who wants to be a "bald" eagle?

My husband hates mylot because he says it keeps me up all night and I don't drag myself to bed till he is getting up sometimes, but I can't get on the phone since I have dial up during the day incase someone tries to call with something important. He doesn't pay my internet cost I have to do that on my own and I do that by being on mylot posting. It has caused some problems but I tell him pay formy internet and I wouldn't have to spend somuch time trying to make enough for it. But he won't so it is not something that is going to change any time soon.

What a grouch. My old LB (lazy bum) is pretty good about stuff like that. I don't know what I'd do if he did not want to help pay for things that made me happy. Good luck.

Well, I have only been a member since yesterday and I don't forsee it affecting my relationship at all. We have a great one and I am not about to let this or anything else come between us because it is just not worth it.

Welcome to myLot! It surely is a lot of fun, but really not as worthwhile as a good relationship. We agree on that. Have fun and hope to talk to you again soon.
