I have come across soo many Christians in this day and age, hell I live in a christian country - the UK, but I have been reading post about religion on here and i'm glad that the people on here have something that anchors them and helps them with their daily lives, and also you all seem like kind, cool, nice people.
But unfortunatly for me most of the christians I have met personally have seemed to think themselves better than me because I am not a christian, and that gets to me.
There I am respecting them, being polite etc... and they seem to speak down to me or ask why dont I believe and when I give an answer, they never say 'Your opinion is repected with me' its always a challange and it normally ends with them accusing me of being nasty to there religion when I simply say 'I dont believe!'
Has anyone else be you christian/muslim/jew/satanist/atheist/any other religon or belief felt that someone of a chosen religon has put you down for a belief that you dont not choose to follow?Wars have started over this and deaths have been caused - all because someone said there is no God/Allah/Jesus/Mohammed/etc...! And they have said it in the most PC, respectful, careful kind of way.
Your views will be respected and welcomed.

I'm a moslem and in Islam we have to respect each other, not only human but all creatures. Why, simply just because we're all created from the same thing by the same Hands. If I were in your position, I would just don't care about what they think or say about me. "To you be your Way, and to me mine" [Qoran 109:6]

Thats a very good point, its just in the christian religion, one is meant to love ones neighbour and i am thinking just because the neighbour doesnt have the same beliefs should that neighbour be foresaken from a religion that respects and loves all?
Thanks again... very good comment

in addition, I think there is no religion which teach the believers to look down on the other believers. So, the main point here, it's the followers who change the image of a religion (like Islam now is considered as a terrorism) while the religion itself always show us to the right path
