Just in case, if i wanted to create a website of my own and i wanted to take the whole content from another website which already exists with their pictures, text, jpeg, gif, everything else what they have in their site expect their company logo. I just want to copy and paste all the codes for my website from them. What is the easiest way to copy those codes and contents and upload it to my server? P.S: I know this should not be done if it is copywrigted. I am just asking this for my reference. Please tell me the way to do it. Thanks.

This coming from a website owner, That's stealing and it's wrong. I know that I spend a lot of time put into my website and I would be very pissed off if I found out that someone took my hard work and claimed it as their own.

Thank you for the comment. I run a website myself, and people like this tend to piss me off.

This is just for reference! You can use a webripper software which are available on the internet for free to download the whole website into your computer. Some support just html and pics, so read the documentation of the webripper before downloading. You'll get almost everything except the password protected pages and ddynamic ones. I am not sure about the codes!

Well, as far as I know all websites are copywrighted. If you would spend a great deal of time creating a website and content would you like it if some one just copied your hard work?

web site design - copying web site design
i do not think it would b possible, though you would be successful in websites with pages written in HTML but not with website written in any scipting language, you may be copy some pictures in those sites but not the whole functionality of the website.

Well, number one, that is just a totally morally corrupt thought. As a webmaster, if I saw that someone had done that to my site, I would contact their host and have their account suspended. Number 2, most websites are copyrighted, or at least considered intellectual property of the creator, so if you did that it would be illegal also. If you want a website, maybe you should learn web design and try using your own original thoughts. By the content of your question, you must not have much, if any web design experience; so this may the only way you have to put up a website, but if you knew anything about web design, your question would never have been asked. The answer is in the question; you copy it.
