Rock: music or noise?

Rock is music... and I firmly believe in that.. but most hate it because now rap and RnB are the 'in' types of music to listen to... and I hate it!!!

Nah it's great music, your just not atuned enough to understand it's greatness, and please don't say rock, that includes Elvis and such crap.

I love Rock. I think most people have a type of music that they just don't enjoy listening to. For me that is rap. I don't like most of the lyrics if I can even understand what they are saying.

love music. but i don't how they call those really deafening rock music. i don't like it that much. For some these types of music is a melody, while for some it is a noise. it really depends on ones preferences.

Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it ;) Rock is never noise, in my opinion. But it can be noise for a stressed out mother trying to sleep. It really depends on mood and preference. But one thing is constant: music will always be universal.

I can honestly say I hate rock especially when there shaking there heads and screaming nonsense. It doesn't even sound like words, I bet they made there own language up just so they could scream it at us.

for me rock are important don onlu drums, but also sentmental test, listen fade to bake of Metakllica, are a lot romantic but Rock and band sonata artica are goyhic rock.veri good, a voice excellent.

There are some genres of music in Japan that are percussion-based (drums mostly) and they're very effective in conveying various emotions. What sounds as noise to one person may sound perfectly sensible to another person. That's the beauty of music. You can't pigeonhole anything.

All music is noise, it's just that different people react to different music in different ways :) I love rock and metal and I also love some romantic tones too, it's just different tastes that makes every person define what is "music" to his ears :)

Rock music is music and noise. Meaning that there are different genres of rock just like all music types. Not just one. There are good types of rock and bad types of rock. the good rock is the ones that are clear sounding and moving and soothing to your soul. You just obviously have not tried to search for all kinds to find the one of your liking or your just not listening hard enough.

I like many different kinds of music and rock is one of them . The only kind of music that I could say I really didn't like is fiddle music and opera of jazz or the blues . Although I have heard some of the blues that I enjoyed . I don't like rock because I think it is cool , I like it because it often describes my mood that I am in on a particular day .

rock is definitely music and the best kind of music, yes it is intense, i get the feeling, u haven't really heard any good rock songs. rock has many types, maybe what u heard was metal, or really hard rock i'll tell u some good rock bandz, u can listen and then u can judge for urself. try out theory of a deadman, or godsmack or nickelback or staind

rock cant be said as noise as it is a creation by musicians.....well people who don like rock may consider it as noise...but i dont think so.

lol...if you really love music then you shouldn't see rock music as just a noise. remember the songs you are listening are composed of 12musical notes and as well as rock songs. rock music is music regardless of how people see it as cool music. rock defines many things in our lives cause it is not afraid to tell the true face of reality. strong drum playing is one of the basic of rock, maybe you heard it so loud that youmistaken it for noise. grudge voice is one of the progressive rock byproduct and some may not like it. dont take it in general.

Rock is the most complicated type of music. If you don't know how to appreciate it, you will never know it's messages. A different kind of way of expressing one's feeling, to promote unity and harmony. Maybe it just depends on it's genre's, since rock music has many different branches. There are great rock musicians like, The Beatles, Queen, Aerosmith, U2 and a lot more. They create great music, with essence and message. Not all rock music is noise. I'd rather not like hip-hop/rap, I can't see any musical notes on that.. If you know what I mean.
