Addicted to crack

My son is addicted to crack.i'm not even 100% sure what it is. I love him more than life..I cannot bear to see him kill himself! we are best freinds,we can talk about anythin.he told me last nite how bad he has it.WHAT CAN I DO?? He wants to get out but cannot get out.I offered to take his to a rehab, he agreed,but I am certain that he will go right back when he gets out.He agreed that he probably would. I told him he has 2 choices: 1 hand he is offered crack the ohter hand:me (he would die for me)! He can choose. crack/me? I told him if he does not get help and stay off forever, I can not be there to see him die/i will not stand above his casket! Am I too harsh? Is it possible to STAY off? HELP ME HELP HIM???
