Can homosexuals become straight?

I'm just wondering if homosexuals can become straight people? I personally believe homosexuality is a product of environmental factors; maybe they were encouraged at a younger age to act in a certain fashion, or their parents at one point wanted to have a child of the opposite gender so they brought up their child in that way. What do you think?

Of course they can become straight. That's just the right thing! Take me for example. While it may be a product of environmental and social factors--I used to think I was born with it, like being a lefty, or whatever. But nothing's impossible with God.. besides, we can't put God in a box. it's like putting the whole Pacific Ocean into a person's hand, or even 2 hands.   ;o)

I believe that homosexuals have a choice. They can become straight if they want to or remain as homosexuals.

no. People who are homosexuals are born homosexual. They will always be homosexual. Now there are some who can deny that they are homosexual and pretend that they are straight, but inside they will always be homosexual. If it was a product of the environment, how could one child be straight and the other who grew up in the same household an dhad the same experiences be homosexual?

I don't believe homosexuality is a case of gender confusion. I think this is the way people are born, afterall what makes us straight? I don't think it has anything to do with the way we are raised or anything in our environment.

Yes, I know homosexuals can become straight, because anyone who is homosexual chose to be that way, and they can make the choice to be straight.
